SC1 - GRADABLE
No rips, tears, or missing parts, but may have severe wear. May display printing imperfections, scratches, dents, stains, creases, or discoloration.
SC2 - POOR
These cards may exhibit heavy wear, damage, or whitening on corners and edges, and can have significant printing imperfections. Expect to find heavy surface scratches, dents, chips, stains, creases, or discoloration.
SC3 - ACCEPTABLE
These cards may show considerable wear, damage, or whitening on the corners and edges, as well as some printing imperfections. Surface scratches, stains, chips, creases, or discoloration may be present.
SC4 - FAIR
Some wear, damage, or whitening on the corners and edges, as well as printing imperfections, may be present. These cards may have some surface scratches with moderate stains, chips, creases, or discoloration.
SC5 - GOOD
These cards may display moderate wear or whitening on the corners and edges, as well as printing imperfections. Some surface scratches with very light stains, creases, or discoloration may be present.
SC6 - VERY GOOD
25% misalignment permitted for centering with additional leniency for the back. Mild wear or whitening on corners and edges, as well as printing imperfections, may be present. These cards may have some light surface scratches or discoloration.
SC7 - FINE
25% misalignment permitted for centering with additional leniency for the back. Very light wear or whitening on corners and edges, as well as some minor printing imperfections, may be present. These cards may have some very light scratches.
SC8 - SUPERB
20% misalignment permitted for centering with additional leniency for the back. Minimal wear or whitening on corners and edges, as well as minor printing imperfections, may be present. These cards may have a minor scratch.
SC9 - NEAR MINT
15% misalignment permitted for centering with additional leniency for the back. The slightest wear or whitening on the corners or edges, as well as barely noticeable printing imperfections, may be present.
SC10 - MINT
10% misalignment permitted for centering with additional leniency for the back. Very low tolerance for any noticeable imperfections. No damage to surface with excellent corners and edges.
SC10 - FLAWLESS
Our black labels are reserved for cards with less than 5% misalignment for centering on both sides. Zero tolerance for any imperfections under the strictest inspection conditions. A flawless card.
Gen 6:
The Generation 6 labels from SlabCave have been crafted to enhance their visual appeal and now replace the vintage red labels. They showcase a vibrant two-tone blue design on the front that distinguishes them in your collection.
SCF* to SC10F:
The revamped 'SCF*' (Flawless) labels, now identified as 'SC10F' (Flawless), feature a sophisticated redesign. These labels boast a sleek black finish on both the front and back, complemented by a striking blue gradient border on the front. This design choice gives these rare slabs a standout appearance, marked by bold and dramatic contrast.
Gen 4 & 5:
Generation 4 and 5 labels from SlabCave are designed with enhanced security features. Each label incorporates a holographic feature on the back for improved authentication, while the front boasts a stylish gradient border to enhance its visual appeal. Generation 5 labels further improved sharpness, vibrancy, and included additional security measures.
Gen 3:
Generation 3 labels are the first series from SlabCave beyond the prototypes. These labels come with unique, searchable serial numbers, enabling collectors to authenticate their cards easily by entering the numbers into our search bar.
